A new tractor is the dream of many farmers. In order for it to continue to please our eye, it must be properly taken care of. The new tractor has bright colors. This state will not always persist. It is worth slowing down this process and taking care of a new vehicle. Protect the LS tractor with anti-corrosion agents. If necessary, repaint the tractor. Before leaving for wide fields, around early spring, you should check the general technical condition of the LS tractor. First you need to check the oil in the engine, then what is the level of fuel in the tank. You need to pay attention to the V-belts, then check that the battery is not discharged, and also periodically check the voltage and clean the radiator, which should contain antifreeze fluid. Add fresh antifreeze to the windshield washer system. Don’t forget the tires and check the tire pressure of your LS tractor. To prevent tire deformation, roll the tractor a few meters approximately every 4 weeks.
The LS tractor should be especially taken care of in winter because it has more parts exposed to weather conditions than a car. Any moisture shortens its life and opens the gate to constant failures. In the winter, the LS tractor needs to be looked after, so that in the spring it will become a trouble-free machine and help us reap a bountiful harvest.
